Virtual ADHD and Autism Evaluations for New Hampshire Residents

I'm Ben Dickstein, a licensed clinical psychologist based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I'm now providing online ADHD testing, virtual ASD assessments, and comprehensive psychological evaluations to individuals in New Hampshire. Through PSYPACT, I'm authorized to offer telehealth evaluations across state lines, which means I can work with you no matter where you are in New Hampshire.

Why a Virtual Evaluation from New Hampshire?

New Hampshire is a small state with a lot of character, but the pool of psychologists who specialize in ADHD and autism evaluations isn't huge. If you've been making calls and finding that everyone is booked out, a virtual evaluation can get you in the door much sooner.

From the Seacoast to the White Mountains, online ADHD assessment and virtual ASD evaluation mean you can get a thorough, evidence-based evaluation from the comfort of your own home. No travel, no waiting rooms, no time off work beyond the appointment itself.

Scheduling Across Time Zones

New Hampshire is in the Eastern time zone, which is the same time zone as Cincinnati. No scheduling complications.

Telehealth in New Hampshire

New Hampshire has telehealth parity requirements and supports the delivery of behavioral health services via video. Through PSYPACT, I'm authorized to provide online ADHD testing, virtual ASD assessment, and comprehensive telehealth evaluations to anyone in New Hampshire. You can verify that New Hampshire is a current PSYPACT member here.

What I Offer

Online ADHD Assessment. A thorough evaluation following current best-practice guidelines for diagnosing attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. This includes a detailed clinical interview, standardized rating scales, collateral reports from people who know you well, and screening for conditions that commonly co-occur with or mimic ADHD. You'll receive a detailed written report with your results, diagnostic conclusions, and individualized treatment recommendations.

Online ASD Assessment. A comprehensive autism spectrum disorder evaluation that includes a developmental and personal history, validated ASD-specific measures, collateral information, and assessment of co-occurring concerns. Online ASD testing follows the same clinical standards as an in-person evaluation. Many adults have suspected for years that they might be on the spectrum but haven't known where to turn. If that's you, I'd encourage you to reach out.

Comprehensive Telehealth Evaluation. For situations where the diagnostic picture is complex or unclear. This includes everything in the ADHD and ASD evaluations plus an objective personality measure that provides detailed information about a wider array of mental health symptoms, personality features, and personal strengths. If you or your provider want a complete picture, this is the way to go.

Combined Evaluations. I also offer combined ADHD and ASD evaluations, as well as comprehensive assessments that include ADHD and/or ASD testing. These are helpful when more than one condition may be in play.

How It Works

Before the evaluation, you'll receive intake paperwork and rating scales to complete ahead of time. People who know you well (a partner, parent, or close friend) will be sent their own forms.

During the evaluation, we'll meet via secure video for a detailed clinical interview. Depending on the type of assessment, this typically takes one to two sessions.

After the evaluation, you'll receive a detailed written report with your results, diagnosis (when warranted), and specific treatment recommendations. Letters of support for accommodations are provided as needed. I'm also happy to coordinate with your providers in New Hampshire to ensure continuity of care.

For New Hampshire Providers Considering a Referral

If you're a therapist, psychiatrist, or physician in New Hampshire and you have a client or patient who needs an ADHD evaluation, autism assessment, or comprehensive diagnostic workup, I welcome referrals. My reports are detailed (typically 12+ pages for ADHD evaluations), include specific and actionable treatment recommendations, and are designed to be useful to the providers who will continue working with the individual. I'm also available for consultation before or after an evaluation.
